Sebastian Stan adjusted his cufflinks, feeling oddly out of place in the chaos backstage at Milan Fashion Week. Models rushed by in impossible outfits, designers barked last-minute instructions, and photographers snapped endlessly. It wasn’t his first fashion show, but the atmosphere always felt a little alien—like stepping into a movie he hadn’t auditioned for.

As he leaned against a table, sipping sparkling water, a voice broke through the din.

“Let me guess—this isn’t your natural habitat either.”

Sebastian turned to see Joseph Quinn, impeccably dressed in a sharp black suit, his mop of curls slightly tamed but still rebelliously tousled. The British actor grinned, a mix of charm and nervous energy.

“Not exactly,” Sebastian admitted with a chuckle. “You either?”

“Not in the slightest,” Joseph replied, stepping closer. “I keep waiting for someone to tell me I’ve wandered into the wrong room.”

Sebastian laughed, the tension in his shoulders easing. “Same. I’m just here because my stylist swore it’d be ‘good for the brand.’” He made air quotes with his fingers.

Joseph nodded. “Mine said something similar. I think they just enjoy dressing us like dolls.”

The two stood in companionable silence for a moment, watching the frenzy around them. Then Joseph glanced at Sebastian with a sly smile.

“So, a mini Marvel meetup, huh? The fans are going to lose their minds when they see this.”

Sebastian smirked. “You mean because of Bucky Barnes meets Eddie Munson? We’re giving them crossover content they didn’t know they needed.”

Joseph laughed, his eyes crinkling. “Exactly. And here I thought I’d be the only one feeling like an imposter tonight.”

Sebastian clinked his water bottle against Joseph’s. “To being stylish imposters.”

As they were ushered toward the front row, cameras flashing in their faces, Sebastian leaned over. “If it gets too overwhelming, just imagine you’re a spy infiltrating a high-fashion operation. That’s what I do.”

Joseph grinned. “Noted. And if all else fails, I’ll just channel Eddie Munson and pretend this is all a rock concert.”

They shared a laugh as the lights dimmed and the first model stepped onto the runway. In the midst of couture chaos, they’d found an unlikely ally—someone who understood the absurdity of it all.

And as the show began, the two actors leaned in, whispering jokes and observations, turning a high-pressure event into something a little less intimidating and a lot more fun.
