They decided to escape, to find a better place, to start a new life. They packed their belongings, their books, their poems. They left the city, the country, the world. They traveled by night, by horse, by boat.

They reached a shore, and they were hopeful. They saw a land, a new land, a beautiful land. They smiled, kissed, hugged. They walked towards the land, to explore it, to claim it.

They lived, and they were happy. They entered a realm, a higher realm, a timeless realm. They reunited, spiritually, eternally. They continued their journey, their quest, their love.

They were dead. Their boat had been sunk in the sea. And they were free.
