Mark and Lisa were a young couple who loved adventure. They liked to explore new places and seek thrills. They heard about a house on the hill that was rumored to be haunted. They decided to check it out.

They drove to the hill and parked their car. They saw the house looming over them. It was a large, old, and dilapidated mansion. It had broken windows, peeling paint, and overgrown weeds. It looked eerie and ominous.

They grabbed their flashlights and backpacks and walked towards the house. They felt a chill in the air and a sense of dread. They ignored their feelings and entered the house.

They found themselves in a dark and dusty hallway. They saw cobwebs, rats, and roaches. They smelled mold, decay, and death. They heard creaks, moans, and whispers. They felt uneasy and scared.

They decided to split up and explore the house. Mark went to the left and Lisa went to the right. They agreed to meet back in the hallway in an hour.

Mark walked down the hallway and opened a door. He saw a library full of books. He was curious and decided to look around. He saw a bookcase that caught his eye. It had a book with a red cover and a gold title. It said "The Secrets of the House". He reached for the book and pulled it out.

He heard a loud click and a rumble. He realized that he had triggered a secret passage. He saw the bookcase slide to the side and reveal a staircase. He felt a gust of wind and a pull. He was sucked into the passage and fell down the stairs.

He screamed and tumbled down the stairs. He hit his head and blacked out.

Lisa walked down the hallway and opened a door. She saw a bedroom full of dolls. She was creeped out and decided to look around. She saw a dollhouse that looked like a miniature version of the house. She was intrigued and decided to check it out. She saw a doll that looked like Mark. It was lying on the floor with blood on its head. She felt a shock and a panic. She realized that something had happened to Mark. She ran out of the room and looked for him.

She ran down the hallway and saw the bookcase that had moved. She saw the passage and the stairs. She heard Mark's voice calling for help. She ran into the passage and down the stairs.

She saw Mark lying on the floor, unconscious and bleeding. She knelt down and tried to wake him up. She felt a hand grab her ankle and a voice whisper in her ear.

"Welcome to the house. You'll never leave."

She screamed and fainted.
